Oh, Red Velvet….who doesn’t love the taste, color, and general awesomeness of a Red Velvet Cake or Cupcake with a perfectly smooth & sweet Cream Cheese Frosting to make each bite heavenly?! You know what’s even better than all of that?? Enter the Red Velvet Whoopie! Whoopies are the new Cupcakes – just you wait and see! I had a lot of fun making these little lovers. In the spirit of Valentine’s Season I decided to take the Whoopie to a lovely new level and give it a heart shape. Now please excuse me while I devour a few more of these before they’re gone…(recipe here.)

this looks SICKENINGLY delicious!
OHHHH they are
I ate most of them myself.
Did you use a heart shaped cookie cutter to get the shape?…I have doubt in my steady handed-ness to actually pour out a heart
Yes, I used a heart-shaped cookie cutter to outline a heart onto baking parchment – then I piped the dough onto that shape and shifted everything into place with wet fingers (use a bit of water to not have your fingers stick.)
I hope this helps
Love the way they turned out!
Thanks, Love!
almost too cute to eat… but not cute enough, hihi, YUMMY! they look adorable
These are just perfect! So fluffy and festive!
