{Spring} Mixology

Miss Renaissance Cocktail

You know the feeling when all you crave (a far as drinks are concerned, at least…) is a chilled, refreshing, fizzy cocktail with a kick? Well, with the temperatures steadily climbing (fingers crossed for Chicago here), and outdoor dining season imminent, I’ve got the perfect cocktail recipe for you! Alison & I recently spent a Sunday/Funday trying out new recipes, and our meal clearly wasn’t complete without a little mixology action. I chose low cocktail glasses to serve this tonic, but it would be equally refreshing served over ice in a high ball or an old fashioned mason jar.
Cheers!

We did- it was good, thanks. Sometimes cilantro can give a “soapy” note (at least for some)- but this was just clean and grassy. Very nice..

that if you are hungry bweeetn meals, you aren’t eating enough. Or that you over did the veggie portion. He recommends 20grams of protein, at least, per meal. I try for a ratio of 2 grams protein, 4 grams slow carbs, and any amount of veggie grams. When I do this, I’m not hungry bweeetn meals, and if I’m late for meal, like if a meeting holds me over, I don’t collapse. I just feel hungry , but that I’ve got plenty of time to satisfy it.On late night meals. A protein heavy meal an hour before bed is recommended, especially if you’ve excercised. A protein shake works. But only if hungry, or if worked out.I’d recommend snagging the book.
