Happy Monday, Lovelies! Welcome to the first week of Fall. The temps here in Chicago have been beautifully crisp over the weekend…serious sweater weather is just around the corner now!! This outfit post comes to you from a shopping stroll through Soho during Fashion Week. I decided to go for a more casual outfit that day, with a denim-on-denim vibe & some fun Fall-inspired details thrown in.

The jacket is early 70s. The preiuovs commenter is incorrect with the comment of rarity based not he missing size on the label All that does is date it to later in the 70s. It was soon after this version where the label became printed (all the ones you see on eBay and being mislabeled as 50s-60s versions) and not embroidered. As with most vintage, the labels become more and more generic as mass production increases. Dropping the embroidering of the size and lot number allows them to use the same labels on all jackets vs having them create per size labels. The embroidering of the size was then moved to the printed tags which would normally fall off/disintegrate with wear.
It’s very nicely done. Thanks for the info
That’s an ientlligent answer to a difficult question xxx
