Glitter!

An Aussie Icon Represents

Hi, Lovelies! Greetings from Down Under!! I’ve been here in Sydney for about a week now & finally feel somewhat settled in and jet-lag free. It’s absolutely beautiful here & I can’t wait to share some local favorites with you…from the delicious food to the awesome shopping!

But first things first, you guys watched the Golden Globes this past weekend, right?! I was glued to the red carpet coverage and as soon as I saw Cate Blanchett hit the floor I knew she’d be my pick for best dressed. Not only is she my favorite actress (Benjamin Button, The Aviator, Elizabeth, Lord of the Rings…her list of incredible movies goes on and on), she’s also been a major female inspiration to me for years and years. She always carries herself with such grace & confidence and is absolutely unapologetically herself. On top of it all, she’s Australian…so I was super happy to see her grace the current cover of Australian Vogue when I went to the local nail salon for a mani yesterday. How stunning is that metallic Gucci suit on her!? Below are a few of my other favorite red carpet moments she’s rocked in the past. She’s always inventive, feminine, and never afraid to take some fun risks…just the way I like it.
