Weekly Color Inspiration {a Spring Breeze}

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect shade of yellow for what seems forever! All yellow nail colors I’ve found had either been too saturated, or too neon…until now. I think I’m in love!! This bright yellow by Butter London is perfect! It’s not too orangey, nor does it have a neon tint. It’s the perfect Spring shade, right?! Paired with a little copper metallic, and it’s a sunny party on my hands.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends, family, good food and some time to relax. I’m still stuck in a bit of a food coma this morning thanks to a fantastically huge dinner last night!!

Remember my talented new friend Astrowifey? I visited her for another manicure the other day and her creative & immaculate work still blows my mind. I came to her with a few ideas of what I wanted, and she managed to combine them and make my manicure modern, funky, geometric (which I love right now), glittery (which I love even more) and fun! I smile every time I look at my nails these days.

Ahhh…the weekend is here, Lovelies! What better way to bring on the sunshine for the next few days than a “Little Miss Sunshine” style manicure!? The fun & bright combo of yellow and gold glitter just screams fun in the sun. Throw on a white bikini with it and you’re ready to glow! Hello from sunny Los Angeles, my Lovelies! I closely escaped yesterday’s Chicago Blizzard – and boy am I glad I did!! I’m back in LA for a wedding as well as some Blogging Adventures.

For this week’s color inspiration I chose to go with a deep metallic Teal and a shimmery Gold. Not only is this one of my favorite color combinations, it also happens to go perfectly with my planned outfit for Saturday’s wedding. I’ll be wearing a Teal/Gray/Blue Velvet Dress by Kelly Wearstler and Gold Stappy Wedges (and NO tights, yay!) Below is an Instagram picture of my planned outfit (sorry about the pic quality – I took it with my iPhone a few days ago.)
