Happy Friday, Lovelies! I hope you’re ready for a fun Spring weekend ahead!

How adorable are these Custom Embroidery Kits by Miniature Rhino?! I can see a million ways to gift/display/use these. For the crafty ones among us, you can choose from a ton of different colors and directions on how to create your perfect little piece of art. If you’re more into leaving the crafting up to the experts, you can combine any letters/names/colors and your embroidery will arrive at your doorstep in about 2 weeks.

How awesome would these be as a personalized wedding gift or just to say “I Love You”? I also think displaying all of your family initials with several pieces would be a cool way to build a family tree…

Gift sets/gift boxes are generally scary to me. They’re usually poorly curated & cheesy, don’t you agree? Well, those days are over – thanks to a genius new Australian (go figure!) company named Bindle.  I accidentally stumbled upon their site during a late-night browsing session and was so impressed that I had to share it with all of you!!

Bindle’s gifts are so incredibly well-curated, I love everything they put together. The sets – or Bindles – are composed by occasion/recipient. There’s a perfect Hostess Bindle, New Baby Bindle, even a Bindle just for the Men out there. The most inspiring thing about this company is that they keep things local. Bindle engages local artisans to produce Australian, hand-made, tailored gift packages. The products within the Bindles, the boxes that contain them, the hand that wrapped them, everything is local. It’s these special inter-relationships that make each Bindle unique.

How awesome is that!? Now, we just need a Bindle service in every city in the U.S.!

2013 Calendar Roundup

{No Calendar Roundup would be complete without Amazon’s Top 2: the awkward pre-teen amazingness that is One Direction, and Photographer Seth Casteel’s adorable Underwater Dogs!}

In this age of iCalendars/Blackberries/iPad Schedules etc, traditional paper calendars seem so old-fashioned, right? RIGHT! And that’s exactly what I love about them. The old-fashioned paper. The beautifully printed ink. Today’s handcrafted calendar options are not only scheduling devices that keep us on track, they’re also room accents & works of art.

Above are a few of my very favorites for the New Year. What are your faves?

Holiday Gift Guide {Part 1}

{1.Glitter Hair Ties  2.Glitter Stickers  3.Wrap Bracelet  4.Gold-Leafed Bowl  5.Sequin Clutch  6.Gilded Print}

The Holidays are getting so close….and with them comes the annual hunt for gifts. I love giving gifts, so for the next few weeks I’ll put together a weekly gift guide with some of my favorite things on the Internet.

This week, I’ll start with a few of my glam Etsy favorites (as we all know, my love for metallics & glitter has no limits.) I love handmade things, and Etsy is still the place for finding bespoke, hand-crafted gifts that are fun, creative, and affordable. Any of these pieces would be perfect for a girly white elephant gift exchange or for that fun girlfriend in your life!

Every lady out there loves beauty products! So here are a few of my personal faves as well as some that I’d love to have & try out. Gentlemen, if you have special women in your life – TAKE NOTE and run to the nearest laptop to click on some of these beautiful little gems:

  1. Tocca Viaggio mini collection (beautiful little bottles and even more beautiful scents from Italy.)
  2. Silk Bralette & Short set by La Fee Verte (feel free to lounge and show a little skin by the fire…oohh lala!)
