You know that perfect retail moment when you see a piece of clothing that you’re immediately in love with…and once you try it on it fits like a glove!? Yep, that’s exactly what happened when I found this Milly skirt. It’s girly with an edge – my favorite combo. The fabric is thick and structured (no wrinkling & great for colder weather), and the voluminous silhouette and detailed pleats make it feel super luxe.

I can think of a million ways to wear this skirt….so I decided to style it two ways. This one is my take on warm-weather casual…with a few pops of color to keep things fun! Stay tuned for another take.

Whenever Summer threatens to slowly come to an end (NOOOOO!!!), I get a nostalgic longing for some time on the beach – hanging out in the sand, watching the waves crash onto the shore. This is my City interpretation of a beachy Summer outfit. To make it truly beach appropriate, I’d just swap the wedge heels for some Rainbow flip flops, add my favorite bikini, and a straw fedora.

P.S.: To get the natural curl & texture of my hair to come out, I used Bumble & Bumble’s Surf Spray. I generally have a love/hate relationship with my curls, but this product gives it just the right amount of volume and structure without the frizz!
