{Skirt – Milly (sold out, but check out this one), Blouse – J.Crew, Jacket – Smythe (old), Boots – Alaia (snatched up at 50% off via Luxury Garage Sale), Gloves – J.Crew, Sunglasses – Celine, Tights – Ann Taylor.}

Last week’s rendition of this skirt was a more mild-weather appropriate option (for those of you who are lucky enough to live in warm climates, I so envy you right now!) For the rest of us, Winter has arrived and we need a few extra layers to make it through the next months. Soooo, here’s my cold-weather option for this skirt. The dotted tights and mixed patterns keep it interesting & fresh. I’ll just throw a mid-length coat on top (and maybe a set of ear muffs for extra cold days) and I’m ready to head out for a fun Winter evening!

{Vintage} Mid-Winter Fun

Sometimes, even in the midst of Winter, a girl just wants to have some fun! So I thought to myself, “Why not blow up some balloons, put on an outfit with a sense of humor, and take a little Field Trip?!” Off to Chicago’s beautiful Field Museum we were! Thanks to a relatively mild & sunny day I was able to play with layers and keep my coat off most of the time. How do you keep your Winter interesting & fun? I’d love to hear your stories!
