My Style // Bondi Whites

Wow, I just realized how long it’s been since I’ve done an outfit post (this was the last one)!! I guess I’ve enjoyed staying “behind the camera” for a bit, but the beautiful weather, fun fashion, and awesome street art here in Australia inspired me to get out there and have some fun in front of the lense. This all-white Manning Cartell look feels fresh and simple for Summer, and the cut-out details on the dress & lace panels on the top didn’t really need any extra color or super bold accessories to stand out. I topped off the look with my new favorite funky Karen Walker sunnies & my trusty Birkenstocks, of course!

Style Update // Lacey Triangles

I’d like to preface this post with an apology to the more well-endowed ladies out there. If you’re rocking anything larger than a c-cup, today’s topic may not be your cup of tea. Sorry, ladies!
Now for those of us with less volume in the chest area – let’s rejoice! The days of having to search for the perfect (uncomfortable) push-up, strapless, hidden-strapped, racer-backed bras are over! Enter the era of the pretty, no-underwire triangle lace bralet!! This trend already began last summer, but it’s definitely in full force now. The local ladies are rocking their visible, Lacey bra straps & side peeks proudly here in Oz, and come Summer, I’m sure the same will happen State-side. Yay to comfort & pretty lace details!

Aussie Style // Bec & Bridge

Here in Australia, it’s officially time for the Autumn/Winter 2014 collections to hit the stores! Not to worry, in this warm-year-round climate, it still means short dresses, shorts and light jackets. I am particularly in love with Bec & Bridge’s AW14 collection. The cuts are striking yet simple, the prints are modern, and I love all of the subtle cut-out details and plays on different hemlines….and the price point is not too harsh on the wallet! I’m off to go shopping…that little red dress is calling my name!

Sass and Bide // Greaty 180

You already know about my obsessive love for Australian fashion. It’s just easy, cool, innovative, with an edge that never feels contrived or forced, ya know? Aussie label Sass and Bide‘s current “Greaty 180” collection is incredible!! I could literally wear every single piece to death!! I can’t wait to get my hands on these styles once I arrive in Oz just a short few weeks from now for my Winter escape (more on that later, promise!)

{Vintage Style} Below the Surface

A fashion-obsessed girl, a stunning 70’s vintage dress, an immensely talented & innovative photographer with a high-tech underwater camera/housing, and an empty pool at midnight. What does all of this add up to?! A dramatic, vintage underwater style shoot, of course.

I don’t have to say much else, the photos speak for themselves here…except I had a blast diving, dancing under the surface, and letting myself float while wearing one of my favorite Shareen Vintage gowns (which I found on my latest visit for under $200!)

I hope you enjoy the drama!
